Lead scoring is a system that assigns a number to each contact based on how likely they are to buy. The higher the score, the more sales-ready the lead.

What Makes Up a Lead Score?
Two things: who they are and what they've done.
Who they are (fit signals):
Job title seniority — a VP scores higher than an intern
Valid email and phone on file
Profile completeness in your CRM
What they've done (engagement signals):
Replied to emails
Booked a meeting
Completed calls
Active deal stage
Deal size
