Integrations
HubSpot Integration Guide
Learn how to set up Conturs and start scoring leads in minutes.
Overview
The Conturs HubSpot integration automatically scores every contact in your CRM by similarity to your best customers. Scores sync as custom contact properties — visible in lists, workflows, and reports.
What You Get
Lead Score (0–100) synced as a HubSpot contact property
Score Grade (A/B/C/D/F) for quick filtering
Score Explanation — human-readable reason stored as a text property
Top Factors — key matching attributes for each contact
Real-time updates — scores recalculate when contact data changes
Prerequisites
A Conturs account (Free or paid plan)
HubSpot account with CRM access (Free CRM or higher)
Admin or Super Admin permissions in HubSpot
At least 10 contacts with company data in your HubSpot CRM
Setup Guide
Step 1: Connect HubSpot
Go to your Conturs Dashboard → Integrations. Click Connect HubSpot. You’ll be redirected to HubSpot’s OAuth screen to authorize Conturs.
Conturs requests read access to:
Contacts and companies
Deals (for learning from closed-won patterns)
Contact properties
And write access to:
Contact properties (to sync scores back)
Step 2: Initial Sync
After connecting, Conturs will:
Read your existing contacts and company data
Analyze your closed-won deal patterns
Build your ICP similarity model
Score all existing contacts
This initial sync typically takes 2–5 minutes for up to 10,000 contacts.
Step 3: Review Custom Properties
Conturs creates these custom contact properties in HubSpot:
Conturs Score (Number, 0–100) — Overall similarity score
Conturs Grade (Dropdown: A/B/C/D/F) — Letter grade for easy filtering
Conturs Explanation (Multi-line text) — Why this contact scored the way it did
Conturs Last Scored (Date) — When the score was last updated
These properties appear in the Conturs property group on every contact record.
Step 4: Set Up Views
Create saved views in HubSpot Contacts to segment by score:
Hot Leads — Filter: Conturs Score is greater than 80
Warm Leads — Filter: Conturs Score is between 50 and 79
Cold Leads — Filter: Conturs Score is less than 50
Step 5: Build Workflows (Optional)
Use HubSpot workflows to automate actions based on Conturs scores:
Score ≥ 80: Assign to AE, send Slack notification, create task
Score 50–79: Enroll in nurture sequence, assign to SDR
Score < 50: Add to marketing email list only
How Scoring Works
Data We Analyze
Conturs analyzes these HubSpot fields to build your ICP model:
Company properties: Industry, company size, annual revenue, country
Contact properties: Job title, seniority, department
Deal history: Closed-won patterns (which types of companies buy)
Engagement: Lifecycle stage, lead status
What We Don’t Access
Email content or conversations
Meeting notes or call recordings
File attachments
Marketing email performance
Sync Frequency
New contacts: Scored within 30 seconds via webhook
Updated contacts: Re-scored within 30 seconds when relevant properties change
Full re-sync: Runs daily at midnight UTC to catch any missed updates
Troubleshooting
Scores Not Appearing
Check that the Conturs integration is still connected (Dashboard → Integrations)
Verify the contact has company data — contacts without company info can’t be scored
Wait 30 seconds and refresh — webhook processing has slight latency
Scores Seem Too Low
Ensure you have at least 10 closed-won deals in HubSpot
Check that company data is populated (industry, size, revenue)
Scores are percentile-calibrated — 50 means average fit, not poor fit
Disconnecting
To disconnect: Dashboard → Integrations → HubSpot → Disconnect. Conturs properties will remain in HubSpot but will no longer update. You can delete them manually in HubSpot Settings → Properties.
This is where the documentation content will appear. Connect this text node to the Content CMS field.
